Lech Joins Valor Honey on its mission to give back to Veterans

NASHVILLE, TENN -- Valor Honey welcomed CEO, Larken Lech, of Pretty Creative, LLC to its Board of Directors. The Valor Honey program helps returning veterans struggling with the invisible wounds of war find community and purpose through agriculture, mainly beekeeping.

Valor Honey is a Section 501c3 charitable, educational not-for-profit corporation based in Manhattan, Kansas. All Valor Honey is harvested or bottled by U.S. Veterans who have gone through Valor Honey’s proprietary beekeeping program. While assisting veterans to create better lives, Valor Honey was also building its e-commerce business and approached Lech for consulting services.

“I can’t think of a more worthy group of individuals than Veterans to give back to,'' said Lech, “we immediately fell in love with their story, their determination to help save Veterans through beekeeping, and their honey product. Their leadership is full of the most outstanding humans we’ve ever met and Pretty Creative is honored to be a part of their journey.”

In July, Valor Honey successfully launched their new e-commerce site that allows anyone in the country to purchase Valor Honey. Additionally, when consumers choose Valor Honey, 100% of that purchase goes to our nation’s Veterans and transitioning military to help them find their way back to a life worth living.

“Too many veterans struggle with life as a result of their military service. We owe them a way to recover and find wholeness again,” says Gary LaGrange, Colonel, US Army Retired, Founder and Chairman of the Board for Valor Honey. LaGrange adds that “Over the past 10 years, we have changed the lives of over 1500 veterans through our training and therapy programs.”
